Steve Remmert

Steve is a doctoral student in counseling at Governors State University.  He is a long time student of meditation and Dharma.  He currently teaches mindfulness meditations for various groups including those incarcerated.  His doctoral studies are focusing on the intersection of counseling, positive psychology, and mindfulness.  He effectively leads groups to the development of a mindfulness practice and stress reduction techniques.

Veronica Bruce

Veronica has a BFA in Theatre from Sam Houston State University from Texas.  She began her massage journey in Chicago and graduated from the New School of Massage, Bodywork, and Healing in 2012 and has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since.  She’s attended Continuing Education classes with the Upledger Institute for CranioSacral 1 and CranioSacral 2 and has completed her first year with the Feldenkrais Method and continues to train for certification.

She believes that massage and bodywork is a re-education of the body – a process of gaining awareness and learning functional changes that benefit your life beyond the physical.  She says, “My role as a massage therapist and healer is to facilitate the change you wish to bring into your life.  Through muscle change and the release of both physical and mental stress/discomfort, I hope to assist in an even flow of energy.”
