Cast Your Vote:Where Should We Hold Our World Tai Chi and Qigong Day Celebration?

Saturday April 30 is the big day. 10 a.m. or 11a.m. (to let the people driving or training into town, have time to get here without hassle.)

We’re making a final decision about the exact location. Either Daley Plaza or Chinatown Square. The goal is to get 200 people for our largest celebration yet of World Tai Chi and Qigong Day.

Be part of a huge international celebration of health, peace and happiness. All are welcome. Nothing like a lot of people doing tai chi and qigong all together.

Give us your vote…

Chinatown Square

OR

Daley Plaza

  1. Thanks for the vote Joe. I’ve received several votes for Chinatown so far as well. As far as the very valid concerns about parking and transpo many feel that Chinatown is actually a bit easier and less expensive.

It definitely costs less to park here. The most anyone can spend for a 24 hour period is $10. Public trans is plentiful. Red line, multiple buses, Cermak and Archer Buses.

At first I was thinking Daley Plaza myself because of the look of it and the idea … but –
still sorting through email answers etc. so we’ll see where this all lands…
